Quarantine Motivation

Feeling stuck? Unmotivated? Quarantine has you in a mental slump? Sources say that after the global pandemic of the coronavirus, people are struggling to stay mentally sane.

Rearranging our routines from our once normal lives, along with limited access to entertainment outlets, has forced us to become creative with how we find entertainment.

Below are a few steps to stay creative and motivated while in quarantine.

Stay Connected.

Staying connected with your team will help you strategize ideas on how to be creative. Keep in mind that although we are out of reach physically, we can explore other sources. Don’t be afraid to try a Zoom call or FaceTime. You can use drawing boards for your presentations and use them in your calls, practice your presentation and get creative. There is a lot of time to be creative; use it to your advantage.

Go Within.

Remember why you started. Reconstruct your approach and your delivery. Grab a piece of paper and write down your story and be enthusiastic! Having a child-like approach is a great reminder to stay motivated and optimistic when presenting the business. Find the point within that motivates you to remember why you started and where you envision yourself going.

Live in the Now.

Although we may find it hard to adjust the outer world, we can find comfort in having control of our inner world. Go for a walk and smell the roses—there is a lot to be thankful for and opportunity is one of them. Find opportunity in the everyday and make the best of it. After all, we are all in the process of adjusting to a new lifestyle. Call a friend or a family member and remind them why they are special. Small acts of kindness remind us of all the good we still have around to cherish.
